The reason for this dissertation is to raise awareness on the systematic ethnic cleansing of the Muslim Cham Albanians by Greece during the Second World War (WWII). The minority Chamns of Greece as they are known in Albania or the “Tsamides” as they are known in Greece resulted in a final expulsion of 45,000 remaining Muslim Albanians during the WWII.
